The fifth floor was chosen as the first testing area of the SpiritCom that Rick had put together. This floor was the source of previous activity including coldspots coinciding with EVPs, a door captured via continuous camera shots opening against the wind and closing and finally audible sounds i.e. a music box. These have been recorded and documented on previous investigations.

After finishing the EVP Session with the SpiritCom we let investigators check out areas on the floor where they had heard or seen things prior to this session.

I was asked to accompany an investigator(his first formal investigation though he had been trained for several years)to a particular room down the hall. He related he had been drawn to a certain room earlier, the door seemed brighter he said and he was interested in the mirror. I agreed on the condition he would follow my lead and advice on it. When he got to the door his first instinct was to knock then he turned back to confirm saying "shouldn't we do that like the doctors did before talking to patients?"

Following his instincts he asked the question "why do you spend more time looking in the mirror than outside your window?." After that I finally allowed him to go to the mirror with me still audio taping. When it felt like something wasnt' quite right I made multiple attempts to break his concentration and persuade him to leave. The mirror came up in multiple conversations during the investigations along with more requests to return and investigate.

During our team meeting/breakfast on the return trip home we as a group asked him to relate what he could about that room. He stated while gazing into the mirror he saw his face transform into that of a middle aged black man. He also stated he was continuously drawn to that specific room and mirror. Just from his tone you could tell he was fixated on it.

İGotta git a doctor, i'm black (recorded during Jun 09 Investigation)This is one of the EVPs taken after entering the room but before the mirror gazing incident.   After hearing the "Gotta git a doctor" you will hear what sounds like laughter then "i'm black".   .

İHear the music First time i had to convince to come away from the mirror.   This is also a multilevel EVP,if you loop it you may be able to hear "hear the music in the mirror".   

İDont listen to him come and listen to the mirror (recorded inside the bathroom)At this point the investigator was acting like he was mesmerised by the mirror.   Once again i have to convince him to leave.
