The Sanatorium has been a long term Case Study and as such we do a lot of research and experimentation there to try and improve our results. Some of you may be familiar with a K2 meter that has been used on several paranormal shows. Basically it is an EMF meter (electro magnetic frequency) with LEDs that light up according to the level of EMF. A field that comes close will cause the LEDs to light up thus it can be used as a type of yes/no box when asking questions.

I have focused a lot of attention on this particular area of the Sanatorium as some of my most unusual EVPs have come from there. We agreed to save it for last and basically camped out there during the wee hours conducting experiments and doing EVP collection. This time the activity level was astounding with audible sounds and lots of activity. It provided lots of audio and video material. This is one of the funniest things that has occurred there in all my years of researching there. Basically a team member gets ratted out by a spirit and the K2 meter. For the curious, yes, other audio recorders did capture speech. It appeared to be the same nine year old child encountered from previous investigations there.

Audible voices and noises had already been heard, so when we heard a yawn we asked about it while taping the K2 meter.

Both of these videos are part of a forty-five minute session we recorded. In this one we heard audible talking in the hallway and proceeded to ask questions. The video has the EVPs from an adjacent recorder at the end.
