Third Floor Encounter

At 7:30 pm, three members began a walk through of the third floor. During the walk, they encountered cold spots while taking photos and checking for activity. Two ran into one outside Room 373 at the same time and announced it simultaneously. At the point of contact, both had the hair on their bodies stand on end and both experienced gooseflesh. Due to the cold temperatures outside and inside the building, we had elected earlier not to do base temperature readings. The cold spots were not so much bitterly cold as they felt like walking through an area with density. We made recorded notes as to the locations in which the cold spots were encountered and agreed not to discuss it in the hopes of getting a confirmation. For confirmation, we decided to do a blind test and carry two additional members(volunteers) upstairs on a walkthrough one at a time while recording them and their impressions. Only one from the previous walk would accompany the member to avoid influencing or giving away areas.

First Volunteer: 8:20pm The first volunteer began her walk and identified the coldspot during her walk-through of the floor. Note: an EVP was captured about 8:40pm during the walk-through.

Second Volunteer: 8:47pm The second volunteer began her walk and sensed activity a few rooms down but did not identify the coldspot..

Results: Inconclusive

While the blind test was only 50 percent accurate as to identifying the particular cold spot outside this room, there was a consensus that there “appeared” to be activity on this particular floor. This activity seems to be supported by the EVP. See EVPs on the beginning page of this investigation.

At the end of the investigation and upon review of the findings, it was determined that the majority of actual captures came from this floor.
