Description
These EVPs are from our February 2010
investigation of the Allen House, a historical home in Monticello,
Arkansas.
"Multiple voices
heard" at 00:02sec Its real funny that
I.... 00:06 female I didn't do it 00:09 female he was just such a
jerk 00:11 male that aint where they wanted to go 00:13 yeah he did
"thats so funny I forgot to
laugh" while starting out in the attic
I announce the time, 11:30 then make the comment that everyone is
cool and chillie and that we are about to stir it up again.
"Ruth Morrigan" or "Ruth Moore again" also hear "the Academy" and a male saying "she was Irish"
Several group members and the home owners are hearing auditory music like an old radio but there was no radio or tv going.
male.
sounds like "1924, I was in the living room, it was in the attic" asked about the fire. location matched. see picture with anomaly for reference.
Research to validate some of the more obscure facts from our EVPs
is still ongoing.
"Sunday School Class" We asked Ms. Virgina Mame McKennon (Caddye's sister) what type
of class she taught in Monticello. It is documented that she taught
a Sunday School Class.
"Runaway horse" Asked Mrs. Caddye Allen how her father, Mr. McKennon had died.
It is documented from the Spencers research that he died as the
result of a runaway team of horses when she was four. We also heard
in the same EVP that the boy lied and the detectives didn't
investigate. Also that he fought in the Civil War and was buried in
Memphis. When we informed Mr. Spencer of the EVP he was able to find
his Civil War service record
(http://bethg.shutdown.com/drew/dchildofconfed.html under Allen
Bonner) showing he mustered in at Memphis. He also informed us (the
info wasn't posted) that his Great-Grandson, Allen Bonner had also
claimed membership to Grandsons and Granddaughters of the
Confederacy. On the list of members from about 1933, Caddye’s
father, B. H McKennon is the one listed as making Allen eligible for
membership.
"Prentis was big","really big fella", Did you love me?" There are quite a few letters (found under a board in the attic) from Prentis, the man Ladelle was in love with and with some from Ladelle to Prentis.
