Mt. Vernon Investigation Findings
EVPs
Unexplained..

The group met at the with the private owners at six o'clock then did a walk through of both sites taking baseline photos and interviewing witnesses. After a meeting and dinner we split into two teams with one team rejoining the other at the private historical homestead.

BACKGROUND

The house itself was built in 1865 and is registered as a historical homestead. The wood for the house was transported to the site via boat, to Jefferson then by mule and cart. The owner rode on horseback to Austin purchased the land for five cents an acre when it became available to settlers.

The business building itself has been around for quite some time and is close to several historic areas/sites.

ACTIVITIES REPORTED

At the Homestead, part of a plant mysteriously was found in the bathtube even though it wasn't present on the property and was a known favorite of the previous owner. At the private business there was a incident involving a file folder being sent sailing across the room into a door and in the exam room a pencil, (behind a raised ledge on an xray viewer) manages to pop over and out four times with the person standing there and returning it to the same spot they always do.
