Halloween Show and Investigation - The Point 94.1 and Dennis Allen
Some of our most convincing findings are voices recorded by our audio equipment. We use analog, digital and some laptops setup for collection. Sometimes the voices are very clear, and sometimes they have to be slowed down or the extra background noise filtered out. All the recordings here are judged to be authentic paranormal phenomena, since the source of the voice has been ruled out as being made by anyone present at the time of the recording. In addition the areas in which they were captured had a history or produced other activity such evp, unusual temperature spikes, photos or witnessed events. Most of our investigation pages list the EVP we obtained during that particular investigation. On this page we have listed some of the note worthy EVPs from The Point 94.1.

The Radio Station had a number of purported activities such as the personnel seeing the image of someone walking through the hallway past windowed doors, sounds and one activity in particular, namely the sound board in a production room called “Prod A”. We did some baseline photos of the building, tried EMF readings but most of the building was so high in EMF that it buried the needle on the detector. We conducted EVP gathering sessions in the hallway, Production A and the reception area downstairs.
We had used a K2 meter throughout and never had any activity on it. While in Prod A during the EVP session, we had a few unexplainable events including a screen pop on the monitor, a buzzing sound we couldn’t locate, and finally K2 activity when we were cracking up after a funny comment was made. The K2 cut off after we stopped laughing. We finished up in Prod A and went downstairs with RJ from “The Buzz” to continue while Dennis continued his show.

Shortly after we set up in the reception area, there was a commotion upstairs and Dennis hurriedly descends the stairs with a nervous announcement that the board in Prod A went off again. A link to a short recording of the incident follows during which four seconds into the recording, right after he says “he’s up in the production room” we hear a faint EVP on one recorder "back off or thats all" and on another recorder in the same spot it comes in a little louder and you hear
"i did it". This is a 5mb file so it may be a little slow loading for some.

They say it’s always nice to have a helping hand at the controls…. Well guys, is it????? So for all The Point fans (including us) who are getting their late night dose of Rock, next time you hear something strange during one of those late broadcasts, you just might wonder whose at the controls!!!

In the reception area talked about the free entertainment they were getting. You can't make out the first EVP but the one towards the end was louder.
"Leave-em alone"
Asked if he like practical jokes.
"me and Jimmy made Engineer"
Asked for Shawns title while he worked there. Can't make it all out but sounded like "we were happy" at the very end sounds like "when me and Jimmy made engineer"
