Follow-up Investigation - Signal Media Building
Some of our most convincing findings are voices recorded by our audio equipment. We use analog, digital and some laptops setup for collection. Sometimes the voices are very clear, and sometimes they have to be slowed down or the extra background noise filtered out. All the recordings here are judged to be authentic paranormal phenomena, since the source of the voice has been ruled out as being made by anyone present at the time of the recording. In addition the areas in which they were captured had a history or produced other activity such evp, unusual temperature spikes, photos or witnessed events. Most of our investigation pages list the EVP we obtained during that particular investigation. On this page we have listed some of the note worthy EVPs from The Point 94.1.

The Point and The Buzz located at the Signal Media Building had a number of purported activities such as the personnel seeing the image of someone walking through the hallway past windowed doors, sounds and one activity in particular, namely the sound board in a production room called “Prod A”. This was a findings review of our preliminary investigation on Oct. 29th. Following the review and the playing of some of the captures on the show we would do a complete investigation of the facility. This would include the both the Point and Buzz Studios as well as hallways, reception and production areas. Baseline temperature readings and photos were acquired after the review and airing of the evps. There were six members conducting the investigation and Jeff Allen, RJ and Dennis Allen were present at various points and provided background information. Followup EVP sessions were conducted in Production Room A, The Buzz Studio ,the reception area with some gathered during the walk throughs. Video recording was used in the Buzz Studio and Production Room A.

At the end of the Prelim when we were talking about leaving a female voice made a reference after a comment to Dennis that said "go home to your couch". When I informed Dennis of this he was quite surprised as he occasionally did this.

Asked for Shawns title while he worked there. Can't make it all out but sounded like "we were happy" at the very end sounds like "when me and Jimmy made engineer"

"Damon"
In the prelim Rick says nobody wants to run you off and we got a strong "Yes he does". We assumed this was referring to RJ. On the Follow-up investigation we made reference to this EVP and a voice came on saying "Damon"(on the night crew) inferring he was the one wanting to get rid of them

In the reception area talked about all the fun had in the building over the years.
"It is Jackson"
Dennis asked if Ray Lincoln were around. We got him to ask a control question. He asked what his moniker was when he did his tip-sheets. Dennis confirmed that it was Stony Jackson.
