The “ghost box” as it commonly referred to is an electronic system, or method of spirit communication, also known as instrumental trans-communication, or ITC. ITC is the use of electronic equipment to communicate across dimensions with spirits of the deceased. This is accomplished through the use of audio, video, and digital equipment. A large variety of equipment has been used such radios, telephones, TV’s, and computers, along with analog and digital voice recorders.

The idea behind the ghost box is that by providing white noise or random components of human speech you are providing the media needed for real time communication and/or EVP capture. In the case of this experiment an AMFM radio has been modified to continuously scan all the frequencies thus providing the components necessary to manifest speech.
